Welcome to the Marla & Moon journal — a space to share the stories behind the pieces, the fabrics I collect, and the process of making everything by hand.

Marla & Moon began from a love of vintage textiles, traditional craftsmanship, and creating clothing that feels timeless. Every item is handmade by me in the UK using carefully sourced vintage and pre-loved fabrics, chosen for their quality, charm, and history.

I’ve always loved the idea of clothing becoming something meaningful — pieces that are worn often, kept for years, and eventually passed down. Using existing fabrics allows each collection to feel one-of-a-kind while also giving beautiful textiles a second life.

Through this journal, I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the studio, inspiration, fabric sourcing, new collections, and more about the process behind creating small handmade heirlooms.
